Boutique Location Recording

Ultra high-quality location recording utilizing all discreet, class-A microphone preamps, JCF Audio analog to digital conversion, as well as a cache of boutique and custom outboard processing. All gear is in fly packs for safe transport to wherever inspiration takes us.

Mixing

Michael produces mixes that are three-dimensional with full, dynamic impact and evoke the intended emotion of the songwriter.

Mastering

Nomatic Studio's mastering facility includes the Dutch and Dutch 8C monitoring system and a host of boutique analog mastering gear. Michael has mastered hundreds of records over the last decade for artists such as Robin Hitchcock, David Holt, The Autumn Defense, Emma Swift, and many others.

Studio Musician

Michael serves as the bass player and arranger for his studio band, The Mercenaries. Michael has played on hundreds of records as a bassist since the mid-80s.
